Pilatus PC-9M Crash In Slovenia

Thu Mar 04, 2004 3:21 am

A PC-9M has crashed on a training flight today. According to witnesses it hit in steep nose-down attitude and exploded on impact. The pilot did not have a chance to eject and has been killed.
No detailed information yet..

I seriously think I just creamed my pants without any influence from any outside variables.

From what I've heard it was L9-52 and it was actually a Pilatus PC-9 (not the M variant). I heard the guy around 10:30 over my hometown and he was doing some acrobatics over the town ... didn't see him actually but heard the engine spin up during a dive.
