KEESJE:

Here's your chance to respond to something other than the KC-767 issue.

Well lets do LMP737 a favor.

"Well at least Airbus tankers don't have to go through a big modification program after EIS to get their full capabilities"
Nah, that would be distracting from the subject.

The delay is due to delivery difficulties involving component suppliers, he said
What component supplier would that be ?

If the dealy is limited to 3 months, nobody will keep awake at night I guess...

Actually the delay is seven months. If Airbus has a delay with a simple hose-and-drouge tanker I wonder what's going to happen when they try and develop a boom. Or when they try and set up a production line here in the states.

Don't know who the supplier is but since EADS/Airbus is the prime contractor they are ultimately responsible.

What EIS are you referring to? If you are referring to the KC-767 let me remind you that since it has not entered service it's kind of hard to do mods on it.

In case you haven't figured it out the point I was trying to make is one I have tried to make before. It seems that you never pass up a chance to jump on Boeing but when Airbus has a little trouble, however minor, you are no where to be found. I had to bait you into responding to this post.

First delivery to German Luftwaffe dates back a couple of months, and I think (!) the Canadian Air Force have received one or two MRTTs as well.

I do not say there's no delay but I question the line were it says Airbus have pushed back first delivery of a MRTT.
