That sucks. Foggy conditions plus unlit tower is a recipe for disaster. It will be interesting to see if the TV station had really warned the FAA, and what if anything the FAA did about it. Very sad to see so many die over something so easily preventable.

The Dallas radio stations are talking like the pilot must have screwed up royally...that even if the tower were unlit, he should have known it was there. This is such a tragedy at Ft. Hood, where times are tough now anyway.
