One Hundred Rounds in a can if my crusty memory serves me correctly, pick your target, bursts of fire - I'd have to say at the minimum 5 minutes, and that's cooking off a LOT ammo, really fast.
I'd guess more along the lines 7 or 8 minutes . . . he had to take time to reload the thing - which is easy enough to do when you're not being shot at, and the weapon is cool
