Monino Fire

Tue Aug 30, 2005 2:43 pm

Sad news on the fire at the Monino Air Museum in Moscow. My tour group was visiting at the time. It appeared that sparks from adjacent hangar maintenance may have sparked the blaze. The fire department was quick to respond. I don't know about the disposition of the aritifacts but the aircraft are in a different building or displayed out doors. This was bad motive, probably more suitable for firetrucks.net  Smile
