A B-25 belonging to Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at YHM landed safely after a nose gear problem just now.
The crew had to deal with a nose gear that had not retracted and was 20 degrees off the the right.
They did several fly-overs above the museum and you could clearly see that the nose gear was not straight. Pretty scary situation.
The crew then did a masterful job of correcting it by performing a touch-and-go during which the nose gear straightened out and they then did a full stop. 6 souls were onboard.
Kudos to the pilot for a job well done.
A coworker took a photo of the overfly. Hopefully he'll be able to upload to show everyone.
