Beluga Going To Ankara To Ferry A400M Parts

Airbus Beluga will be in Ankara April 2nd, to ferry back to Germany parts for the A400M built by TAI. Turkey is planning to buy 10 of these planes and TAI is building a few parts for this project. (In Turkish, A400M related part bottom of the page)

There is an excellent article about Spanish aircraft manufacturing (mostly Airbus Spain and CASA) in Flight from a few weeks ago.

And another first is that the Beluga will also fly the wings from Filton to Seville.
But a rate of 28 a year (as per Flight) sounds like nothing compared to 15 or so a month in XFW. Must be a cushy job Big grin
