B2 Bomber Low Over Pasadena Today

Tue Apr 04, 2006 11:07 am

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anybody can explain a very low and fast flying B2 bomber that passed over Pasadena, CA today at around 1:20 pm local time? I found it very strange...

Sebastian
I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

That was quite a sight! The B-2 Rose Parade fly-by goes right over my house, although it did'nt happen this year due to weather.
If it's new and quiet, I don't want to fly it.

Either that, or the thread was moved here after I suggested it to be so. Guess which one...

I saw them do the fly over for the Rose parade this year from the street directly below. Gorgeous sight! I would love to know how often the B2 is used for fly-overs in the LA area? Is this common for parades and games around here seeing as there are B2's in Palmdale?

Side interest, is to find photos of this years Rose parade fly over of the B2 and the Raptor's it had chase off each wing, or at least something to identify which bird it was so I can find older pics of it?
