is asking for every possible option;
New build medimum size tankers (KC-767?, KC
New build large size tankers (B-747-400ERF/-800F?, B-777-200LRF?, A-340-500/-600?)
All new builds will work up to producing 15 aircraft per year.
Use commerical aircraft converted to tankers (B-747-400?, MD
-11F?, A-330-200/-300? B-767-200ER/-300ER? A-340-300?)
Rebuild existing KC
-135Es through modification or upgrade to KC
Commerical venture to take on some USAF
Air Refueling tasks (training, etc.)
This leaves me thinking they have no idea how much money they will get from Congress.
