Tornado F.3 External Fuel Tank Capacity And Weight

What is the capacity of fuel in one of these external fuel tanks? Also, how much does each one weigh?

The large tanks used on British Tornado aircraft, IIRC, have a capacity of 2250 liters. A smaller one of 1500 liters exists, this is used by German and probably Italian aircraft.

One liter of jet fuel weighs about 0.8kg, add the weight of the tank itself and IMHO then the total weight should be about 1kg per liter of capacity.

That pic is actually a GR.1 if I'm not mistaken, and in that pic it has the smaller external tanks.

Yes, indeed this is a GR1 / GR4 / IDS ground attack variant.
Exceptions confirm the rule.

So these tanks are the 1500L tanks and each tank as a result weighs 300kg?
