Overseas Leisure Travel Military Question.

Fri Sep 21, 2007 6:10 am

Ok here goes I am planning to go to Europe or South America for leave next year with my wife.

I am active duty Navy what do I have to do besides have a passport? I heard there is a website to check Threatcon's in different countries, and online training I have to do etc..

I have traveled a lot overseas on deployment and also traveled for fun France to England in the 90's with NATO Leave papers this was way before 9/11 but I have been told the rules have changed.

Where do I start to get the ball rolling?

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
