RIP To A Pioneering Female Military Aviator

Diana Barnato Walker was one of few female aviators during WW2, not seeing combat, since women were prohibited from doing, at least with the Western Allies, nonetheless she had a varied career and was steeped in aviation her whole life.
Also being the first British woman to break the sound barrier.

I must say she had a great life and also had a long one, she did her duty in spite of her wealth.
It is better to die on your feet, than live on your knees.
