Different Intake Shapes On T-38...

Wed May 21, 2008 8:06 pm

Saw this photo on the front page as the second runner up and unless my eyes are wigging out I seem to see a difference in the intake shapes.

The a/c in the front, 17 seems to have kidney bean shape intakes that are vertical. Where the a/c to the left, 63, seems to have the same shape but sitting horizontally.

Other pictures of 63 appears to show that too.

Anyone else notice that? Anyone know what is up with the difference. Some experiment by NASA perhaps?

Thank you for that.

Pretty bad when you don't see the answer to a question in a thread you started. Doh!

I will admit that it wasn't the main topic of the thread though, more of a side note!
