Is It Me , Our Dose F18 And E-2 Look Smaller?

Mon Aug 18, 2008 12:26 am

From fact sheets, F18 A,B,C and D are 58 feet long, F18 E/F are 60 long and E-2 are 58 feet long. May be it me, but they do not look as long as the text book say. I was looking at a E-2 being towed from the TR to the airfield on Norfolk base last week, and the truck behind it looked longer. So do anybody else see what I am taking about?

Yes I knew this is a silly topic but it was on my mind.

They are that long. Not sure what kind of truck you are talking about, but a full size semi trailer is about 53 feet by itself, add the rig and they will be a bit longer than a Hornet or Hawkeye.
