Other MilAv Forums?

Tue Oct 07, 2008 10:35 pm

Hey Anet people,
I love this site, I get a lot of information from it, it's one of the best civil aviation resources on the 'net. However, I've been getting into military aviation and space recently, and the MilAv forums here are not particularly active, inspired or knowledgable. In CivAv, the smallest fleet changes and modifications are endlessly debating, with both those involved in industry and informed amateurs weighing in - when there's a CivAv development, I turn here first.

I'm trying to find something similar, but for MilAv and/or space. There are a couple of great ones I've found: Key Forums, PPrune, but they all have their downsides (Key's not that active; PPrune is almost exclusively British, etc). Does the Anet community know of others I shold check out?

Regards,
Cannibal

Plan C: Try contributing here.

This forum will never be very active if people just read posts.

well, I disagree with you there.

The CivAv forum is actually so active you can barely follow all the discussions going on. I think almost everything is pretty well covered here and one person can still keep track of things.

You can try www.Fencecheck.com. It is a very active site that also contributes back to it's members in ways other than piling on upload reject notices.

So I guess I'll do my part by replying and contributing. Sorry, 1/2 of the threads started here are IMO useless threads asking questions that a seconds worth of google search can answer or are so obscure that .001% of the members find them worthy of reading or reply. See where I'm going here?

I also would like to find a Mil site quite different from this one.
