Spanish Mirage F1 Collision At Albacete - 3 Dead

Two Spanish Mirage F1's collided in Albacete province, Spain at 10:15 this morning. Three pilots/co-pilots died in the accident.

It was a training flight. One of the two a/c was a 2-seater and one of the casualties was a flight cadet.

Mirages are slowly being phased away as Typhoons are being received.

It seems that the collission happened at low level and none of the pilots could eject. More info to come shortly.

A sad day.
