Looking For South Korean P-3 Orion Pics

Wed Feb 18, 2009 8:44 pm

Does anyone have any pictures of South Korea's P-3 Orion fleet, particularly of aircraft 165101 (905), 165103 (907), 165105(909)?

An acquaintance of mine is creating a book of every single P-3 built, but he needs images of the said three above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, but I was already aware of 901. What I need are pictures of 905, 907, and 909.

Quoting JakeOrion (Thread starter):

Will this book be available to the public in any way, shape, or form? I'd be interested.
As odd as it sounds~ in the post 'TOP GUN' days that were the late '80s~ P3s were the reason I joined the US NAVY!!! I'd talked with some folks from VP-69 at NAS Whidbey Island, and decided those were what I wanted to work on. Funny thing, though~ after 20 years of trying-- the closest I got to being involved with them was my year on Diego Garcia...

Fun times.
Classic planes, Classic trains, and Studebakers~~ what else is there???

Dave, as far as I know, yes, it should be available at a book store, or at very least, online. His goal is to have every picture of every known Orion as well a description of the bird. I'm not sure if he's doing the L-188s though, I'll ask him, since they are essentially based off the same airframe.
