C-23 Due To Fly Over DC Area 4/30-5/1

Thu Apr 30, 2009 6:42 pm

The U.S. Army will fly a parachute team from the 101st. Airborne over the DC area in a C-23 on 4/30 and 5/1. The soldiers are jumping in a ceremony at Walter Reed Medical Center.

The C-23 is a variant of the old Shorts 360. I haven't see one of them in a long time.
