Civilian F-101B Voodoo?

Hey all,

Just came across this pic in the database:

Does anyone know the story about this plane?? As it seems, it was the only F-101 Voodoo to ever see civilian use. So why did a University have it?? What did they use it for?? Who flew it?? What years and how long did they use it for??

So if you have any info, please share!! Thanks in advance.

I remember this aircraft being parked behind one of the fire stations at Buckley ANGB at the aero club when I worked there from 1980 to 1984. Too bad I never got to see it fly.
