Very impressive and a sight to behold.

This rather unsung WW2 aircraft, was the prototype in many ways for all those special forces choppers of today.
Since the Lysander become the main insertion/extraction aircraft for getting SOE operatives into Nazi occupied Europe, also rescuing downed pilots etc.

At night, in and out of very short grass strips.
