Anyone Know Which Air Force One Was In SEA

Wed Aug 18, 2010 5:23 am

I was at Boeing Field today to see Air Force One take off. I also got a pretty good view of Obama's motorcade from about 20 feet away. I was wondering which of the two Air Force One's Obama was flying in?

Actually, there's only one. (sorry, had to be done - and I know others wanted to say it!)

I do know what you were asking though.

Regards.

That was what I thought I remember correctly. But I think last fall/winter National Geographic Channel(or was it Discovery?) that showed a documentary about the presidents travel to spend thanksgiving with the troops in Iraq. I was under the impression that there where 3 AF1 ready planes. So that must be wrong?

yes, there are only 2 VC-25As, however if you count the E-4Bs, the president could hitch a ride on 6 different 747s.

Better hope the Prez never hitches a ride on the E-4.... good way to start a war...
