Fighter Jets @ EWR?

Sat Sep 11, 2010 1:09 am

Father of a friend said a bunch of fighters landed today at KEWR. Any idea what they're doing there?

Very strange/eerie to hear them around 3pm They were heading north towards EWR.
Almost the same pattern as the approach. They were landing on 4 this
afternoon.

There is 4 F-15's for the US Open Fly Over and 5 F-16's for the NY Giants home game on Sunday at EWR. There will be a B-2 for the Jets game Monday night

Somehow that's fitting for the Jets - it should be dark by then, and no one will see it...
