If you guys are referring to HMX-1 they are CH
-46E "Sea Knights" they are USMC
aircraft Not Army aircraft. CH
-46's are a bit smaller than CH
I'm not sure if they take the VH
-3D's on the road or not, I think they use the VH
-60 "whitehawks" on the road.
"Because the VH
-60N folds easily for loading into an Air Force C-5 Galaxy or a C-17 Globemaster III it is ideal for overseas assignments. The Marines can prepare a VH
-60N for a C-5 load in less than two hours."
