Yak-52 Goes Down At An Airshow Yesterday

Sun Mar 27, 2011 8:52 pm

Sadly there was an aviation loss yesterday when William 'Wild Bill' Walker crashed during a routine at the Wings Over Flagler airshow yesterday, here near Bunnell, FL. Bill was part of the Red Thunder Air Show Team and never pulled out of a dive during a loop. The team uses Yak-52's and Nanchung CJ-6's.

I was at the same airshow today and a group of 4 T-34's did a missing man formation flight in his honor. RIP and condolences to his family and friends.
