F-22 Down In Florida Per ABC News.

Reports are the pilot ejected safely, with no injuries on the ground.
I don't like to be fueled by anger, I don't like to be fooled by lust...

Wow.. creepy. Was just looking at the F-22's record of incidents/accidents last night out of random curiosity.   

Glad to hear the pilot is okay.

I'm happy to hear the pilot is all right! That's the most important thing here.

I am sad to hear of another Raptor crash. We didn't have many to begin with. I am very interested in the cause of this crash too.

Four lost airframes now...still not to bad considering how the thing operates on the edge. They didn't write off the gear up landing jet.

According to FoxNews the pilot is now under "medical supervision" which leads me to believe he may have some minor injuries from the ejection.

Its pretty standard that if you eject, even if you don't report injuries, you go to the hospital for tests. Nothing new there.

It's also pretty standard that ALL ejections involve some injuries.

Any idea or speculation to the accident? Mechanical? Glad pilot is okay.

Nope...guessing tends to make people look stupid. The only thing we know is that he reported an IFE and was in the landing phase of flight when the mishap occurred.
