I am sure most of you know the Vought A-7 Corsair II was originally developed by the Navy and then forced on the AIr Force by Robert McNamera. The Air Force retired their D models by the mid to late 1980's when they where replaced by F-16's. The Navy used their E models in the 91 Persian gulf war before phasing them out in favor of F/A-18's.
Because of the difference in retirement date the Navy flew a number of weapon systems that where still being devolved when the Air Force retired theirs. What I am looking for is any ideas on who hard it would have been to fit out Air force D models with some of the systems the E model did actually fly. Particularly Harpoon and Harm
