Japanese Country Music

Can anyone tell me where to find some-if it exists? I don't know why, but hearing Old West songs with a banjo and harmonica sung in Japanese is something I've always wanted to hear.

You are crazy. This is a good thing, I'm pretty sure, but I've never heard so strange a musical request in my life. I know John Denver toured half the world with his music, so I suppose that's been translated into some languages, but really I haven't got a clue where'd you find that stuff. Anyway, this just struck me as very different. Kind of like your post about airline food and Continental's chicken dinners a while back. Well, let me know if you find anything, I must say it would be kind of fun to listen to (do you speak Japanese?).

I don't speak Japanese. I wish I spoke Japanese. The only dialects I know other than English are some Spanish and a little Russian.

hmmm... I've visited Japan a few times, and I haven't heard country music there. I guess it isn't that popular there. I'm sure it exists, but it might be hard to find.

They have some, it's just that the country singers sing it in English.
