who do you think is going to win the cup, now that we really have our choises narrowed down, i want dallas and i think they will repeat, dallas has really good defence and befour is playing better than ever plus the dallas powerplay is working and brodeur is playing kind of nervous and the only guy who is scoring for the devils is patrik elias

I want the Devils to win. I dont really like when a team repeats unless its a team I like   If Martin Brodeur steps up and Scott Gomez plays like he did in the regular season, then they could win.

New Jersey!!!!! They Deserve it! No one thought they'd be here, they all thought the Leafs would win, and then they thought they were dead when the Flyers were 3-1, and NJ wasnt even top seed this year! They are the real underdog here, and it seems Dallas underestimated us on Tuesday night, cold medicine my ass!!! Out drinking is more like it!   (don't take that too seriously!!) The Cup belongs in the EAST!!! Lets bring it back!!!

Deserve it???? The only thing the Devils deserve is a cold puck up their a**!! Seriously, Dallas may have underestimated you a bit, but you will wish that you didn't score all seven of your goals in one game and spread them out over the series when the mighty stars come back and destroy the pansy Devils!!

P.S. Why doesn't the NY media give the Devils any respect. The Yankees still get lead sports coverage on the news, followed by the Knicks, then the Mets, then the Rangers, then the Nets, then the Islanders, then the MetroStars, then the Liberty, then St. John's, then Seton Hall, then Hofstra, then the Little League team from Tom's River, then the Devils. What's up with that?

The reason there is less coverage is because NJ is torn between the Rangers in the north and the Flyers in the south. This is one of the most difficult sports markets around. Way too many teams. The Devils are relatively new here (not counting the MetroStars, Liberty, etc, that you mentioned). Most of the guys on the team aren't even from the NJ area and many are European and don't speak the english language well and don't make for good interviews, so sports reporters don't like that unfortunatly.

Anyways, we're very underrated, and the fan base is small as well, the only time the arena sells out is when we're playing the Flyers or the Rangers when their fans come to watch. Hell, we can't even fill it in the playoffs.

Just remember, the last time the Devils took the cup they swept Detroit, it took you 6 (with OT!) games to beat Buffalo!

Oh, and by the way, we are HARDLY pansies, dont for a minute think this will be a 5 game series. If we're going to lose we will take you to the 7th game tied in the 3rd and make you EARN that cup!!

stars tix i think ( where I sit which is up close to the ice) are like 130$ The stars are going to win!!! you guys wish you scored 7 goals over the series, not in one game, we are going to kill NJ, oh yeah and to show some sympathy to NJ, you guys deserve the NY media because the only good teams in the NYC area are the yanks, the devils, and the knicks, and the metro stars suck aswell as the isles, the mets, and the rangers. LETS GO STARS!! DALLAS WILL WIN THE CUP!!

BTW, I'm not really a Devils fan but I want them to win the Cup because:

1. I live in the east coast and we sure would like it if Devils bring the cup. (Thanks to Sammy)

2. I hate Modono and the Stars. (sorry, 'bout that...I'm usually a good sport.)

My teams are the Caps and Avs. I would really like if the Avs be in the finals then the Stars.
Let's Go Devils!
