You're so lucky. I wish my parents bought me cars. The best I ever got was an all expense paid trip to Toronto for Thanksgiving. I got the gift in June. I leave next Friday.

Nice car by the way!

Hey, dont feel bad, i would have loved a trip! I like Lincoln Navigators too! But I dont think I would want to drive one, i think they are way to big for my style. As I have said before, the one and only good thing about SD is you can drive at 14!

Theres just something about Ford SUV's..... (Lincoln is owned by Ford and the Navigator's body is that of the Expeditions). I'm not much into sports cars. If i didnt get an SUV, I would like a Lexus with chrome hubs and a booming sound system. For now, its my Mongoose bike that gets me around when parents cant drive me

DAMN!!! I can say that's a helluva good birthday present. And I come from a place where parents regularly give BMW 3-series to their children that go to my school on their 16th birthdays (La Jolla, California).

I will probably have to "settle" for a late 90s model Ford Expidition or Infiniti Q45 when I learn to drive...

Happy B-day.

As someone said in a differnt post, "I'm not spoiled, I'm just well loved!"

Up here in SD my car is pretty hot stuff...but I didn't drive it to school today, I'm scared it will get some door dings (its always been a phobia of mine!)! So i drove my old one to school. Im still jelous of this girl who has a Mercedes-Benz CLK230 (i think), and a kid has a PT Cruiser, i like that too!

My best present for my birthday was actually this year... Round trip tickets to Greece (to visit relatives, but flying alone, and 2 months without my parents) in Greece, they let me travel to Santorini, Mykonos, Thessaloniki, and Cephalonia. My summer was the best!!

Actually, my best birthday present was meeting my girlfriend who now, three years later is carrying my baby. So I'll also get the best X-mas gift ever. No cars, no trips, no money can ever top that. Never.

Anything will do, only if my dad doesnt have any meeting or my mom doesnt have any work-trip and everyone's together while I blow out my candles.

Yes, that is true. I know the only reason I got it was b/c my dad lives in a differnt state (FL) and he feels bad so he payed for most of it...I would have rather had him up here for my b-day, but oh well...

Wow, talk about some spoiled kids (no offence). For my birthday my parents gave me a $400 bill for my insurance. Wasn't I happy (yeah, right).

I agree with Gyro. All material things that will or have been given to me will never surpass the greatest birthday gift of all...a little brother. He was born 5 days after I turned 2 and I consider him to be not only a brother, but one of my best friends.

yeah, the best birthday present I could wish for would be to move to Jacksonville, FL where all my moms side of the family lives. I live here in Nevada and my dads side isnt that close, my moms side is. I would give anything to get to move to FL, but my dad doesnt like it there, he says there is no mountains and its too humid, oh well, my 18th is in 2 and 1/4 years and i can do what I want.

My best birthday present was from my uncle, he gave me his old Beamer (1986, with 207,000 miles on it now). It needed some work, but after I got it fixed, it was almost like new. I absolutely love it, even though it's so old. I still laugh and smile at how lucky I am when I say "I'm going to get something from 'my car'!" My parents said that they would pay half of my insurance, too, on my birthday, which was another great present. Finally, the instructor at the Arden Hills drivers course passed me on my drivers test, another great present. (12 days after my birthday). That was a great two weeks.

Stepping off the F28 after a really bad flight with rude passengers and greeted with a ring and the magic question.

For my 16th B-day (which was in June) my mom gave me her 1997 Honda Civic. Its the best material gift I have ever got, but as far as family goes, my best B-day was at chuckee cheese in Hawaii when I turned 4 (It was my golden birthday so most of my relatives flew out to visit), It was great.

This year I had nice gift. Exactly on my B-day (Aug.22) somebody broke into my car, demolishing both locks, stilling my double subwoofer. Later that night someone destroyed my spoiler. (right now I have 4 holes in my trunk  ). 2 days later they broke again to my car but this time they didnt take anything, simply becasue there was nothing to take. But they broke side window in my car.
Everything happened on metro station parking "White Flint Metro" !!!
Well, I got card with wishes from my parents from Poland.

My best birthday present......

Well to date nothing can beat an opportunity i had to jumpseat on a Britt Airways Fairchild F-27F from Bloomington, Illinois into Chicago O'Hare as the F27 series is my favourite type. Itwas my 22nd Birthday in December 1988.....it was the very neatest thing that i have had the privilage to do.

My best birthday present is coming up this Thanksgiving. My birthday is the 25th of November and my girlfriend is coming up from FLL. We are in love and I'm dying to see her. I saw her about two weeks ago.

My best birthday present was a preformed liner to build a pond. It was made of reinforced plastic. I received it for my 12th birthday in 1998.

The best present I can think of was from last year- my neighbor- and best friend flew in from CA from her busy life working in the enterainment industry to greet me at school with balloons and then took me out for a manicure/pedicure- then that night- my family and my neighbor and her family ate at my most favorite resturant in the world.

Sure, it wasn't a Lincoln Navigator (Though we're getting one in a few weeks) or a fancy expensive trip- but it was being with my favorite people in the whole world- which made it really special.

A Shiny Bike

Thu Oct 05, 2000 8:29 pm

I got a mongoose mtb for my 15th..

currently I drive a '81 Holden Commodore (VC) It has almost 600 000km on the clock... oh yeh it runs LPG so cheap to run.

As much as i love audis beamers etc id feel uncomfortable letting my parents or anyone buy me one.. I prefer to do it my way even if i have to be humble and drive a shitbox itll make me a better person.

Regards,

Aussiemite

PS Im 19 in about a week and a half.
