I think this should be on the civil aviation forum. My guess is 4 hours and they'd probably use 737 or A320 aircraft. Maybe a 767...

Qantas use a combination of 737's and 767's on the route, and 744's on the Johannseburg route and when there is higher demand. Ansett use 733's, A320's and 762's on the route.

I would pick the AN A320. Better than an 733 or 762. Planning of visiting someone Surfy? (Let me guess.. Sorry - I'm being cheeky again.)

Yay! My pic worked (how about that MB?)

Surf....the only thing is you won't be able to fly on a Skyteam carrier (that is you isn't it?)

If you are coming down this way let me know ok.

Cheers

Well I'm a United non-revver but I collect mileage on my British Airways Executive Club card so if I flew to Perth from Sydney I'd probably be taking Qantas for the One World deal. Actually, If I were going to visit Perth, my dream would be to take the Indian-Pacific across the continent and the Nullarbor, then fly back to Sydney from Perth. I'm a big fan of travelling by rail.
