Bush Quote, 10/26/00.

Fri Oct 27, 2000 4:04 pm

"My opponent's campaign is a fitting close to the Clinton-Gore years." he (Bush) said. "They're going out as they came in... their guide, the nightly polls; their goal, the morning headlines; their legacy, the fruitless search for a legacy."
I swear, I really feel for you people who think this Gore dude has a snowballs chance. Makes me wonder where your head's... oh, well, I'm not going to rub it in. Don't want to burst your party bubble and all that. P.S. You suckers really think this trip to North Korea's really going to make a difference?

You can do better than that, here's a couple of good ones...

"What I am against is quotas. I am against hard quotas, quotas they basically delineate based upon whatever. However they delineate, quotas, I think vulcanize society. So I don't know how that fits into what everybody else is saying, their relative positions, but that's my position.'' —George W. Bush, in Jan. 2000

"If the terriers and bariffs are torn down, this economy will grow." —George W. Bush, in Jan. 2000

You may be right, I think George W. might win--polling trend is going his way; or he might win the popular vote, but lose the Electoral College vote. Stay tuned...

"Half this country voted for my opponent and half this country voted for me, the newly elected president. That all goes to show that those who get the last half get the last laugh."
