The US presidential race defintely tells me something about Al Gore.
Here we have the longest running peace time period of prosperity not seen since the 1950's and yet the Vice President, who usually benefits from "good times" when he runs for the top job, is "tied" with someone who's only real claim to fame is that he's the son of a former US President!
Al Gore has no real controversies surrounding him unlike his predecessor. He is a decorated combat veteran from the Vietnam War (unlike his predecessor who dodged serving in the conflict). Gore also supported the US involvement in the Gulf War also.
Despite all this, barring a surprise from the Florida vote recount, he will not be our next president! I really think that says something about what voters REALLY think about Al Gore AND Bill Clinton.
Despite what the "Pro Gore" people say on this web site, many of which who aren't even US citizens, it is clear that Al Gore has not struck a chord with the American people and that being the case, what does that say about his ability to lead our country?
