Shouldn't that be: Who let Monica, Gennifer and Paula out?

Uhm...TWFirst: what was your answer? and who started this topic? Was that intentional? If not, then your subconscious has a sense of humour!

No, not intentional.

One of my favorite utterances (I went to a very diverse grade school. This was by far the most popular put-down among the minority classmates.)

And BTW, every part of my being has a sense of humor (in Canada, that would be "sense of humour").

And also Polaris, we have seen the first flakes of the season here in Minnesota. Time to get out those famous snowmobiles  .

You're absolutely right! Except for Monica, I would file her under Porky Pig.

Actually I would still leave Hillary and Chelsea in there and take Gennifer out.

By the way, if you recall, I went to that lovely Jesuit School in Chestnut Hill, MA. I don't know if you caught any of the game Saturday against Notre Dame but we looked pitiful!

I have news for you: this aint cold. Not even close to being cold. Come back the third week in January. I guarantee you you'll know the meaning of cold then .

Ever lived somewhere where the HIGH temperature for the day was 17 BELOW?? (Sorry rest of world, I don't know what that converts to in Centigrade off the top of my head but believe me, it's fricking cold).

How about a low of 35 below? Without windchill.

AerLingus A330:

Yes, you do have a point, but I must confess I can't remember what Gennifer looked like.

BTW, I didn't catch the game (I was working Saturday) but managed to catch the post-mortem. A few of my bretheren went to South Bend for the game, but couldn't figure out who to root for (My Superior is both a BC grad and I believe taught there for a while).

In other words BLOODY COLD. And the rumor is we're going to get hit this winter too. Once the temp passes -10F there's no further point in measuring the temprature.

yea thats what my dad said... he is a DC-10 instructor captain for northwest so he's up there a bit. (i flew 12 loggable hours in the DC-10 this weekend... freaking awesome. That thing is so huge. It was different reading out EPR and N1 setting for takeoff instead of RPM or manifold pressure...plus it takes a couple seconds for the turbines to spool up. Definitely cant wait until i get in the airlines...even though that will probably be my last PIC time from the right seat from the DC-10 unless i go up to NATCO again.)

I live such a sheltered life... I put on the long pants and fleece tops when the temp dips below 70 degrees! It's all too cold if you ask me!

I must confess that I've never seen snow, ever, (been skiing, but on an artificial slope) and I think the lowest temperature I ever reached was about 25 - here in Florida last January. And boy was I moody that day...!

I'm glad I'm down here in FL - and even then I'm wearing fleeces because the temp is around 70! I'm sure when I get down to FLL (looks like December by the way, TWFirst) they'll come off. But Daytona - FREEZING!

Sorry just not used to all this cold weather!

And did the rugrats?

Thank god Nicolaki...I thought I was the only one who despised that awful song.

I wish we (Minneapolis area) would have gotten 10 inches of snow like we were supposed to...a snow day would have been nice. On the other hand, uhh, it's fine how it is  .

I hate that song as well.

Come to Manitoba. It gets about as cold as TWFirst was talking about, and we have over a foot of fresh powder already, and we had a snow day last week Wednesday. Winter does pay off in that respect.

RE: Gennifer Flowers

Charles,

Gennifer Flowers was the blonde who, during the 1992 campaign, gave the press conference stating that she was Bill Clinton's lover for 10 years or something like that.

Then, in an unprecendented move, Bill and the dragon lady Hillary, went on the national tv show "60 Minutes" to deny any such allegation, even though we all know that it did, in fact, happen. Bill Clinton, facing a perjury charge during the Monica Lewinsky hearings, admitted under oath that he did have an affair with her.

Of course I didn't believe Clinton from day one, the guy is a pathological liar and an opportunist who doesn't give a you know what about anyone but him and his libido!

When did your superior teach at BC? I graduated from BC in 1990, maybe I knew or heard of him. Hope all is well!

Jim,

Thanks for the refresher on Clinton's trysts. Mabie he'll get special commendation in the new government? Minister for mistresses perhapes?

Re my superior, his name is Paul Harman. He quite probably could have been there during your tenure at BC. He's been in formation for quite some time though, first as formation assistant to the New England Province, and is in the middle of his sixth year here at Loyola.

Hope things aren't too cold in Boston.

Peace!

While we're on the subject of Jesuit education.....

I am a graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose.

Charles, do you know:

Fr. Tom Reilley (Loyola Academy grad)
Fr. John Murphy (former Bellarmine principal)
Fr. Gordon Bennett (auxiliary bishop of Baltimore, former Loyola High School LA president)

There are a number of California Province Jesuits that I have remained in touch with and keep as mentors, just thought I'd drop a few names and see if you knew a few.

GO BELLS!

Why are they asking as to the identity of the person or party responsible for releasing said 'dogs?'
Are these dog's of any consequence?
Is there anyone that cares?
Are these dog's rabid? Should we be worried?
Maybe they should put an ad in the newspaper to get them back.
Have these dog's been spayed or neutered?
What types of dogs are they? Perhaps I have seen them.
This song sounds as though it has gang connotations.
Will people be the victims of drive-by shootings if they play this song loudly?
Get your patchouli stink outta my store!

DeltaSFO:

We have a John Murphy in our community in Chicago, but I don't think he's the same person you're talking about. There's another John Murphy who is currently in Portland, and I have met him a couple of times. He's probably the one you are referring to.

I haven't met Tom Reilley yet, but I have heard of Gordon Benett. Before he went to Loyola High he was Novice Driector for the California Province for a number of years. He is greatly admired by many in California. California's loss is definately Baltimore's gain!

Great to hear you're still in touch with these people. I am a Seattle Prep and Seattle U. grad. It's similar relationships I had with Jesuits over the years which planted the seeds of my own vocation to the Society.

Go Ramblers!

Actually instead of Lisbon Antigua, I was thinking of maybe "The Macarena" or how about maybe some overplayed song by Brittany Spears or Celine Dion?

Charles,

The name doesn't sound familiar although there are quite a few Jesuits at "The Heights"!

The Jesuits that I knew personally were Fr. Ron Tacelli, Fr. Frank Parker, and Fr. David Hollenbach. Actually Fr. Hollenbach is shown teaching a class in a tv promotion for BC that they play during the football games.

Actually I saw Fr. Tacelli a couple of years ago as he did a funeral for a classmates mother. He's doing well.

GO EAGLES!
