I'm partially ambidextrous (spelling?). Most tasks are undertaken with my right hand, but there are some things I'm better off using my left hand with.

I'm weird, I use a fork with my left hand and I write with my left hand, but I throw with my right hand too.

I guess I'm more of a left handed.

I am the same way, I write right, eat with my right, play sports with my left(left winger/goalie in hockey) left footed for soccer, throw right handed, hit left, wipe my butt after a little bit o' #2 with my right, I thought I was the only one that was screwed up

I'm right handed. Do right handed people use their fork with the left or right hand?? I use it with my left but I've heard its the other way.

Right.

When i was about 8 i messed up my right arm pretty bad and learned to do everything lefty.

So technically im a righty, but i eat lefty, can write lefty, and even throw lefty... (im a baseball player and a year ago in a summer league they clocked me throwing lefty for fun... i hit 80mph w/ my left arm from the mound... righty im around 90) unfortunetely my control as a southpaw was atrotious! (sp?)

Thanks GUNDU and Blink, but I think I speak for the masses when that might have been just a tad too much info

Ambidextrous suortxedibmA

I'm really more left handed than right handed, but my right hand has all its fingers. So I write with my right hand, and do everything else left handed.

I am a lefty... even though we do die younger!

Though interestingly enough, left-handed males actually recover from strokes better than right-handed males. It seems that lefty's are not as sided in their brains. Lefty's use both halves of their brains for motor functions and higher cognitive stuff than righty's do.

I have heard that if you're left handed, you are believed to be intelligent...however, I am not..

I use my right hand to write, and,
the only time i use both hands is when I hold a fork + a spoon to eat.

Does that equate to a drummer, ILUV767??

P.S.: is drumming a good instrument to learn?

Most of the time, I'm right-handed.

But then, I can also be even-handed, underhanded, or heavy-handed!!!

Well I use my right hand for everything. I had to learn to write with my left hand when I was 12 because I broke my wrist and 2 of my fingers in a car accident. I can still write and eat with my left hand though.

Drumming is fun. You really should try it. If you play right handed, your right hand does 75% of the work. But during fills, solos, or something other than the regular beat...your left hand is very involved. Your right foot also plays a big part in drumming.

ambidextrous-I write with both hands. It all depends where im sitting, if i am cruched in a table in a class with someone on my left, i write with my right, and vice versa. I can do everything with my left or write hand, eat, thow ball, etc..etc..and other things too...!

Dave, Left foot controls the hi-hat too. Right hand is on the high hat, left on the snare. Right foot on bass pedal and left on hi hat.

Take it from another drummer, drumming is so much fun. I really enjoy playing at basketball games with this kickass set the school has. You gotta know sheet music too. I am also learning mallet percussion too. I can make up stuff on the keyboard.

Dave, have you formed a band in Palo Alto yet?

I'm left handed...I see the majority of you are right handed. I basically use everything with my left hand except using scissors (which I use my right hand) I use my left to play sports..pitching, i use my left hand cause yea...southpaws tends to throw harder then a righty and shoots with my left in hockey (the majority of NHL players shoots with their left) I'm the only player on my team to shoot left handed.
So, for you righties think that lefties are abnormal, well...we are smarter in such case.

I've seen many pilots being left handed....so that fits me well. A southpaw pilot.
