AOL Picture Quality

Wed Dec 06, 2000 6:42 am

If just transfered from Netscape Online to AOL (because this way I don't get a phone bill & cross parents) but the picture quality is CRAP!
All of the photos on Airliners.net that i've looked at since being with AOL have been blurry (they were fine before).
What are they like for you?

Cheers,
Jamie.

The same happened to me, it´s terrible quality when I look up the pictures with AOL.
Maybe they can save some speed in reducing the transfer of data ?

I just joined AOL and I am still in the free month but I think I won´t continou to use AOL.

You can look up the same topic in the photo-forum. Someone gave a link to a related discussion before.

The pictures aren't blurry for me and I use AOL. Try going to AOL Preferences, and change the internet properties. Check that you don't want the graphis compressed. I didn't have to change the compression of the graphics, and my pictures are clear.

Unfortunatley AOL is the only company that offers i-net access for a flat price (no phone bill).
It was really expensive before joining them so I think I'll just have to squint at the screen & try to work out what I'm looking at!
