He might run in the primaries, but I doubt he'd win. Somebody else will most likely get the Demo's party nomination.

Maybe Bill Bradley will run again...

We tried to warn you !!

What funny people on this forum.

DeltaRNO, will you even be old enough to vote in 2004?What makes you think that "no sane American" would vote for him again? Depending on who the other candidates were, I would probably vote for him again.

CoLite, do you know what a Yellow Dog Republican is? It is someone who would vote for a yellow dog if it was the Republican candidate. As in, they don't even think about the pros and cons of that candidate. They would vote for Saddam Hussein if he was the Republican candidate. Are you a Yellow Dog Republican?

DLX,
the same "Yellow Dog" theory can be applied to democrats as well. Partisanship is a huge player in politics, let us not forget.

Anyhoo,
Im voting for Hillary Clinton in '04, For President or Vice, its all good.

You're absolutely right Branvan3k. Unlike others on this forum, I can actually see both sides of an issue.

(BTW, I will not vote for Hillary unless the other guy is *really* bad, or Hillary completely changes before 2004.)

I don't think Gore would make in into the general election in 2004... and Hillary (just about the most socialist democrat that could actually run) would be even worse than algore...

As for the Republican ticket- I will vote Republican if someone like Alan Keyes (what percentage of the black vote do you think he'd get?) is on the ballot. If not, my vote will be with the United States Constitution Party...

Gore wont make in into the presidential election. I think the people will still be mad it him for not conceding sooner, and making the elction be d...r...a...g...e...d on for what seemed like ages. I do think though, that Hillary actualy has a chance to make president. I think the people need to see what she does for NY before they can really make any judgements to whether she would be a good president or not. So I dont think we can really say if she would be a definate canidate for presidency. We've got 4 years to think about it.

The US Union of Hilary Socialist Republics in four.. good grief. I dont think Gore has a chance....and Delta is right....anyone who votes for him is a looney. More than likely I will vote Republican b/c that is where my beliefs lie. But i am not saying I will definitely vote taht. Btw..to whoever said that about Delta being able to vote in teh next election.... youre never too young to start learning about the political system and knowing what you believe. Most of the adults on this board act like stuck up 5 year olds.

You people say Gore has lost public respect, well, sorry to tell you, but Bush has none. It is sad to see what Bush did to our country this past month.

All will be told, and you'll have the egg on your face....

We're Nuts

Sat Dec 23, 2000 4:09 pm

We're Nuts said:
"""You people say Gore has lost public respect, well, sorry to tell you, but Bush has none. It is sad to see what Bush did to our country this past month.

All will be told, and you'll have the egg on your face...."""
---------

What an all out lie, and YOU know it.

Look at the polls, especially during all the recount mess, and you will see that Bush's support rose EVERYDAY. He has ONLY gotten stronger. Every poll confirmed it. There were several poles that said that 75% of the country wanted Gore to concede and other polls that asked things like, "If the election were held today, rather then the 7th, who would you vote for?", and Bush had a significant majority over Gore. Other polls asked which canidate was more presidential, again, Bush had a much larger majority over Gore.

You are lying We're Nuts and even your looned out Liberal friends know that Bush has only gained more support. Gore has no doubtebly LOST support.

So We're Nuts, what has he done to our country the last month that you claim was so bad?

-Dustin

They just keeping getting worse...Clinton, then Gore, then Hillary....next We're Nuts will be running for office....

Dustin, do you just make this shit up now?

Polls on the days after the Gore concession asking whom they would vote for if the vote was held today gave Gore a narrow but significant lead. (About 50-54%.) Polls that asked "Who got more votes in Florida" around the same time gave Gore a whopping 75%! These are MSNBC and CNN polls! Where are you getting your numbers from? That's right. You fabricated them.

DG_Pilot, Bush destroyed Democracy by going to the courts. Instead of letting the people decide, he let 9 Justices throw out every vote in this country.

And for the last time, I am a CENTRIST!!!

I would just point out that if you think that Gore is finished after "this disgusting election display" you are summarily judging Bush to have a one term presidency. Obviously, since he was as nasty if not moreso than Gore, he is DOA.

DLX- yes, I will be able to vote in 2004 (my vote will cancel yours). Read my user profile, the age says 16-20. If I add 4 years to 16 (the minimum age of my age bracket), my math knowledge tells me that I will be 19 (on November 7, 20 on Dec. 13) by the time the next presidential election rolls around. The legal age is still 18, right? So yes, I will be voting next election.

"My vote will cancel yours"

Hahahah. I just love it when people say that. Two points: first, how do you know your vote will 'cancel' mine when I don't even know whom I'm voting for in 2004? Also, you live in Nevada? How exactly will your vote 'cancel' mine when I live in California? I hope you learn more about the political process before you start voting. Most importantly, one vote doesn't 'cancel' another.

I saw those polls with my own eyes!!! I DID NOT see the polls you talked about, and I watched before and after the day of the concession. They might have been running that special edition just to shut people like you up.

Speaking of Gore's support, I know quite a few Democrats that have switched to the GOP over this latest blunder. Why are a few of you sensible and so many others aren't???? God Bless the Switchers....

This from someone with the handle of "Hairyass"? Sorry, but I couldn't help laughing!

DG_pilot, remember, Republicans are the ones who would rather have an extra quarter in their pocket than help pay for the country. If you aren't willing to pay for the country you live in then get the hell out.

Dustin, I need a more definitive answer than "I believe..." I watched an awful lot of CNN and NBC, and I never saw these polls. Hell, I watched an AWFUL lot of Fox News Channel, the conservative news network. They even didn't show these polls, only the ones that I spoke of.

747-451, you're kidding, right? Did you forget that
* the Republicans initiated the lawsuits when they took the case first to the Federal Circuit Court in Atlanta?
* the Republicans went against their own principles in taking a state issue to federal court where it was expected to find a more Bush-friendly staff?
* the Republicans took their case to the Supreme Court of the United States not once, but twice?

Umm, yeah. The Democrats used the courts.

Suppose Al and Hillary run as a ticket, Al the President hopeful and Hillary the Veep.

They might create enough votes.
