Why don't you make it so that when you create a new subject, the site searches for all the words in your new post, in all the previously posted topics. Not only would this cut down on repeats, but it would help users find what they are looking for.

But you have to realize that your post contains a lot of "in", "on", "a", "it", "for", "the" etc. Almost every post has them. And I do'nt think it's easy to tell the computer system to pick out the key words, so it probably won't work.
