The US Goverment What

Tue Apr 17, 2001 7:00 am

If you thought your company was bad, read on...
Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:
* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* 7 have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
* 3 have done time for assault
* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is? Give up yet?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.
The same group that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Not very impressive is it?

Mmmh, I could have sworn BrissieLions posted these entertaining statistics a few months ago...

Thanks anyway: They always cheer me up!

Ikarus I hope you did not give me a bad rating! I am already on thin ice with the admin, I have to post top quality stuff or I get banned!  Sad

Are you trying to convince me that the admin is putting pressure on you to improve your posts? I do not think Johan is quite that bad a person - he definitely doesn't fit the "slightly mental teacher" type in my mind  Big grin

Anyway: What exactly do you consider "bad"? Big grin Big grin

PS: Ooooh, revenge is looming ahead of us... Foxhunting, eating British beef, trying to set me up with first KROC then CPDC10-30, and complaining about my VS-picture-post-frenzy.....  Acting devilish

Just kidding! I would never behave this childishly.... Well, maybe almost never Big grin

Seriously I have to improve my posts or I get banned from the site, I think he feels I have gone over the top with some of my recent posts, so I am trying to improve. I was not purposly posting bad stuff, I think that it is just my sense of humour, and happy state, that does not work for some.
Here is a copy of my warning, to prove I am not joking!

Ok Iain, I've had enough of your teen-rebellion or whatever it's supposed to be. When you signed up for the discussion forums on Airliners.net, you agreed not to post any vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane or sexually oriented posts and from what I can see, that's basically the only kinds of topics you have posted lately. I was forced to delete the "Jokes!" thread TWICE. Why the hell do you think it was deleted the first time, so you could post it again!?
Please consider this to be a fair and friendly warning. In order for a forum to function in a way that benefits all its embers, there have to be rules, both explicit and implicit. Kindly stay within the rules in future, or the administrators of the forum will be forced to terminate your membership. I trust things won't have to come to that.

I do not want to get banned as I like it here, so I have to strive for top quality posts, so please give me high ratings!

Ok, Iain. If he wrote that to you, which i think he did. And he says we agreed not to post sexualy orientated material, and breakers would be banned, most everyone on the non-aviation forum would be banned, right? I doubt he ever really would ban you.

Derek I hope he does not ban me, however while in the shower his comment Why the hell do you think it was deleted the first time, so you could post it again!? really was not that nice, and would be deleted if it was posted here. That part kinda has me upset right now!
