What is the drinking age in Canada? Or what is the drinking age in the country you are from?

Varies from province to province.
Ontario = 19
Manitoba = 18

Americans regularly cross the border to enjoy the night life. In fact, a DJ from Manitoba has officially asked Bush twins for legal 'boozing'. Of course, the DJ will pick up the tab and plane tickets. Secret service will have to pay their own way. Not a bad deal if you ask me...

Oh well, I can tell you once again about the law here in Germany:

You can drink whenever you want as long as your parents allow it. This doesn´t apply in the public.

In public:
14-15 - soft stuff (beer, wine etc, i.e. no liquors) as long as you´re accompanied by a parent.
16-17 - soft stuff even unaccompanied, still no hard stuff
18+ - whatever you want, whenever you want, with whoever you want.

Yep, its 19 here in Ontario. Downtown Windsor is flooded with Americans from the Detroit area on weekends, they take advantage of the lower drinking age. There must be over a hundred bars in a few blocks.

I actually read today in the Boston Metro about the radio station formally inviting the Bush girls up to Canada for a weekend or something. Will they go? hmmmm  Laugh out loud
