Thank you gentlemen, I live in Chicago and am more than familiar with Jewel. We bought some strawberries and sausage from them a few years back and both were half wrotten. Since then we've shopped at the also-local Dominicks.
I didn't know she had 5 CDs out, but yes, her music was some of the most popular of all time. She had some top singles and albums in 97 and sold several million copies of Pieces of You, which as far as I knew was the only good album she wrote.
As far as her music goes, I wouldn't be asking if I didn't like it. The songs were unoriginal? That's funny 'cause I've yet to hear anyone else say the things she says. The song Adrian is awesome, it's either pro-euthenasia or could be used for that cause. That doesn't make it original, but it is original anyway. Pieces of You itself, along with a lot of the others on the album, have a lot of attitude and so forth.
And by the way, N'Sync isn't going anywhere. They had a huge concert here in Chicago (right across the street from the Jewel store...) and we were bombarded with oversized SUVs with windows reading "I wanna *$%#( N'SYNC!" etc.
Aloha 737-200, I like your style. I'm more of a 60s-70s guy than 70s-80s, I don't think much good stuff came out of the 80s.
Has anyone ever noticed that Britney's initials are BS? I think that's cute.
Oh and Timdapup22, thanks for actually answering my question!
