Ask Out A Former Classmate?

Mon Jul 16, 2001 4:06 am

Alright, need some quality advice here. I went to a brand new YMCA they built right by my house to join up (need some exercise) and to my suprize, the girl behind the counter was a girl i had in 2 classes back in high school. She is totally gorgeous, however her personality is such that she doesnt usually date anyone, in high school was kind of that "untouchable virgin" type girl... really bubbly, popular, super nice, type that doesnt realize how cute she is....

ANyway, we got along really good in high school, (flirty) but she was a grade younger and we were from different "cliques" so i never asked her out.. (not to mention she wasnt the type to go out w/ many guys)

Well, we've both since graduated and in college... when i saw her yesterday she acted thrilled to see me (shes naturally bubbly tho) and, quite frankly, i totally want her  Smokin cool

Now i would typically just ask her out, but if she says no, then everyday i go to the Y to work out or whatever, im gonna be embarrased off my ass..... and im sure as hell gonna use the place, it is expensive, even the student rate...

HMm.... how do i find out if she already has a boyfriend? i dont know any of her friends... Is this too wierd a situation? maybe i should just let it go...

AHHHH!!! this one seems to go beyond simple boldness

Well, as for finding out if she has a b/f, just let it come up in casual conversation. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT just say "Do you have a b/f?". THat would be death there. Talk to her, and usually that kind of stuff comes out after a few chats.

Lets do some sexy math. We add you, subtract your clothes, divide your legs and multiply

Chris, my FWA brother! I've done this before!!! Invite her to an event with other people (like some of your friends). Tell her to "bring your boyfriend".

This accomplishes 2 things. If she's interested in you, she will accept invite, if she declines, there's no embarrassment, because, since you invited her boyfriend, she won't take that as hitting on her. Plus, you'll find out if she has a boyfriend. But be prepared if she does have a boyfriend and accepts. That sucks.

My email is if you want to BS
"Shaddap you!"

That is probably the best way to find out if a chic has a BF, man you're good.

I'd go for it man, I see many chics from high school I want to go out with, but I don't have the opportunity of seeing them as often as you. Good luck.
