What's up with your one line review of Sunday? Well, I guess now that I am back here in LA, I'll have to do it.
Sunday at 2PM, I pulled into the parking spot at SJC. I get out and see that only one other person is there-namely ILUV767.
We chatted for a few minutes. I showed him a bunch of my pictures. Then around 2:30, Superfly showed up. I was willing to bet that ILUV767 showed up, hoping to see a bull fight.
Well things didn't exactly go that way. The three of us hung out for a bit when out of the blue, FlyGGA showed up. So we had a little foursome gathering instead of a threesome.:D
It was a beautiful clear sunny day. And I was thirsty, and had to use the commode.
It turned out that there was a McDonalds down the street.
History was made as I invited Superfly to go for the ride with me. We got in, took off, and I BLASTED "Limelight" by Rush. Classic legend of guitar song. I'm sure that Superfly will agree with me on that one.
We tried pulling into the parking lot of Costco, which is how we get to "the Arches", and traffic was backed out into the street. Apparently, gas prices in the Silicon Valley area are highly exhorbitant. And this Costco I guess was selling gas at quite a discount, which drew every SUV for a 40 mile radius. If someone told me that every SUV within a 40 mile radius was in that lot, I would've believed it.
Finally, we took care of "business" and I got my 168 ounce mega Coke. I also slipped up and bought Superflys order too.
Darn....I hate it when that happens!
So anyway, we went back to our spot. The four of us were gathered around, and we discussed various liveries, planes, topics on this board, and so on. He showed us his Cuba and Mexico pix. He took a nice cabin shot of an Il-62 that he was having problems getting posted. He also showed us a book he received about the "good old days" of air travel.....ahhh to see some of those stewardess uniforms today.
And then...there was the little cupcake.
We didn't know who she was, or what she was interested in. But there was this little lady....a total knockout....mid 20's...tall....yet petite...and the firmest, shapely looking posterior I've seen in a long time....standing at the fence with a camera taking pictures of the planes!!!
Well, Superfly and I took some pictures of HER (unbeknownst to her...telephoto lenses are great)...so one of us is going to have to post them. I suggested that Superfly introduce himself, and tell her about his "heavy".
He suggested I give her a fuselage plug.
And before either of us worked up the nerve, she sped off in her little BMW.
After awhile, FlyGGA and then ILUV767 took off, leaving just us. In between shooting pix of some planes, we talked about everything from girls behinds to 70's and '80's music to reel to reels, tape types, recording tecniques to cars and so on. As it turned out, he is also a fan of one of my favorite groups-namely "The Ocean Blue". I played him a rare song of theirs, which was never released other than on a promo LP. I think he dug it.
Finally, after about 7:30 I decided that it was time to make the trek back to Fresno. So I took him back to the CalTrain station, we parted ways, and I headed back.
Great day....we'll have to do that again sometime...and next time, we need more people...especially those that say they are coming...to be there.
