TWFirst: The 1 Year Anniversary

Fri Aug 24, 2001 7:41 am

Hello all, This is a very proud moment for me.....Exacly 1 year ago today I explained to TWFirst that I had been banned for awhile due to a fight with one of the resident homophobes, Never knowing the thread would become this big..........Little did we know that this somewhat irrelevant post would become the largest post and longest lasting post in the history of airliners.net.

I want thank all that has been invloved in keeping the TWFirst Volumes going while I have been away. I want to continue to keep these "Forums within the Forum's" alive.

I would like to give shoutouts to all that have participated in the TWFirst Volumes, But that would be impossible so I will give a few:

TWFirst: Of course I gotta start with you, Your my most respected user and you are one of the coolest and nicest dudes I've ever known. I want to meet you someday.

CstarU: Sup>? Yes, I was Frank Lorenzo/Gordon Bethune/Herb Kelleher. You gave the the idea  Smile

KROC: Mike!!!!! Your da man!!! I really enjoy talking to you!!! I'll have to come up to NY some time. GO METS!!

Lindy: Wassup Rafal??? I finally lost my Virginity. You should be proud of me!!!!! Hey, Did you know I'm part Polish to?

NWA Man: Sam, I know your not here on the forum but I still wanna give a shoutout to you!!!!!

Thom@s: Wassup>? You've created a lot of the TWFirst Threads and I wanna say that your awesome!!!

ALOHA 737-200: Aloha Dude!!! You bring paradise to the Forum. I love Hawaii and I love Aloha Airlines. You are da man!!!!!

BH346: Dude, Your so cool!!! You got a great attitude and I always enjoy your posts.

EGGD: How could I make a shoutout without mentioning you? I couldnt!!!!! Your posts are awesome and they crack me up!!!!!

USS330: I remember the days when you were SN330. You are sooo cool!!! Thanks for keeping the Forums alive  Smile

Boeing747-400: Kevin!!!! My #1 IM Buddy!!! Thanks for all the backup that you've gave me in the Non-Av Forum  Smile Your the best!!!

LOT767-300ER: Wassup Peter? I still remember when you wouldnt let me get a BMW  Smile Thanks for not letting me get one!!! Keep up the good work!!! Like I told Lindy, I'm also part Polish.

To all that I forgot, I want to say that you all rule (Even you N312RC  Smile ) And I want to thank every one of you for making this happen.

Sincerely,
Dan Sharp

Dan, Rochester is cool, but I think I'd have more fun in Fl or ATL, lol, so maybe I outta fly down there and meet up. Been great talking to you as well. Stick with your policy of dating girls at least 7 states away...less problems like that. Trust me. Lets keep these forums going strong for another year. Oh yeah, and Greg Maddux for his 5th Cy Young! Now can you dig that?

Unfortunately, the volumes are almost dead, takes forever now to reach 300, not many people there anymore.  Sad

Save the TWFirst Volumes!

I haven't been in on the TWfirst threads in a long time, but I guess I could call myself one of the originals on the first volume.
We need to bring back the kind of thing we had in Volume I !!!

My grandfather got out of the hospital today after having surgery to remove a hernia. Of course, at 90 years old, and stubborn as a mule, he still won't retire.

Ahhhh. and they still rock on...

It may be time to kiss them good bye, but they will be a memory. December to March, when every time you hit the refresh button there would be another 2 posts.. now that was the stuff. I remember I tried to print TWFirst II out at school and I had to pay $10 for all of the paper I used.. hehe Smile/happy/getting dizzy

-Meister Smokin cool

PS: Recall Lindy's trip in the Ryder truck.. and the blow-up doll??? hehe. Good times.

Rock on.

L-1011 Tristar, read my post in the newest thread, or was it the finished one and you'll know.

Also, not mentioning me might had to do something with it...I've sometiems kept the Volumes alive almost by myself, yet my name is not mentioned.
