Surf's Up

Fri Sep 07, 2001 9:27 pm

The Cape is not known as the Cape of Storms for nothing ! During our worst storm in 40 years a 17 metre wave was recorded off Slangkop (Snake Head) close to Cape Point. Reminded me of that movie of the guy in search of the ultimate wave !

 Smokin cool

Wehn there was a hurricane of the coast of Baja CA, three was a group of us that went surfing in San Clemente. It was a big mistake as the waves where huge (not quite 17 meters), and I got smakced in the face with my board!
