Dublin, California or Dublin, Ireland?  Confused

If your going to the one in Ca., they have a Krispy Creme dounuts, In & Out Burger and a movie theater. It's a pretty boring suburban town. You should come to this side of the Bay to SFO.

As for Ireland, don't know what to tell you. I never been there.

If it is Dulbin CA the In and Out is a must, best burger you will ever have!

If Dublin Ireland, I would go Guiness drinking! Ask for a shamrock on the top!

There's a good inexpensive Tex-Mex restaurant downtown called the Alamo Cafe. It was pretty good. I'd recommend going there.

I'm actually talking about Dublin, Ireland. The Alamo Cafe is at: 22 Temple Bar Dublin 2 I've never been to Dublin, CA.

We need to forgive Metwrench, bcoz he's a American on the "right side" (read it in his profile), he doesn't know thw difference between The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. No offence in any way Metwrech.

Don't listen to Metwrench...Dublin is a very clean, safe city with beautiful architecture and a wealth of attractions.

I really don't where to begin...there's Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the National Museum, the National Gallery, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, O'Connell Street.

Do you have any specifics in terms of your time parameters/areas of interest etc...?

Go biking and explore the town on your own. Irish people are very friendly.

You know I should really take offence to Metwrench's comments, but I'm not going to because he's just a sad ignorant fool. Dublin is my home town & I can tell you its 50 times safer than NYC (and I thought NYC was really safe). Even Belfast is incredibly safe as is the rest of Northern Ireland. I really get annoyed when people have stereotypical images of certain things or qualities about Ireland but I'm not going to go into detail since its off the point.
EIPremier basically mentioned most things. Visit the Guinness Brewery and if your significant other has a shopping addiction  Big grin then walk around Henry St. & Grafton St. Two streets dedicated to nothing but shopping and they both basically have every big brand name you could think of.
