World Trade Center, My Thoughts

Sun Sep 16, 2001 3:02 pm

After the horrible tragedy on Sept. 11 2001, I have read and heard many people's thoughts on the situation.

However, I have been deeply distrubed about idiots who think all muslims are responsible for this, as well as those who thinks Afganistan should be flattened.

I have heard one idiot say that the palestinians also deserve to be bombed for celebrating this incident.

All this has made me think a little. What the hell is our world coming to? Hasn't anyone learned from history that wars don't solve much and only result in heavy casualties on both sides? This isnt a video game, this is real life.

Right now, the possibility of war is unavoidable, and I just hope all those civilians in Afganistan flee as soon as they can.

I expect in the future, heavy security will be implemmented, but after a period of time, they will be seen as a waste of money, and unnessasary.

So what can we do to prevent terrorism? I don't know, but slaughtering more innocent people in other countries is not the answer.

Perhaps this is time for America and other countries to beef up their intelligence, and prevention measures.

I agree about the wasting of money in the long run, but hopefully the new measures will prevent anymore terrorism.

I happen to think blowing up the countries responsible for killing our people will do a lot of good. But that's just my opinion. Also, if you kill the terrorist you have killed the terror. I am 100% behind president Bush and I hope Laden is slaughtered along with the Taliban. We are at war.
