I like the DBacks not only because I think they are a good team but also because they have Mark Grace, an ex long time Chicago Cub. That guy put up with a lot of crap with the Cubs organization. I think he deserves to win it all. Also Luis Gonzalez, another ex Cub (and one hell of a player).

So I'm with you on that one. DBacks all the way!

At least the Astros beat the Cardinals. I hate Bonds, I hope that he does something that maims his reputation in baseball so that people think that Big Mac is still the best. He should go gambling I think.  Big thumbs up

 Sleepy

Sorry, but I lost ALL respect for baseball/football, etc after the strikes.. They want more money, but they make more in one season than some of us do in a lifetime.. Sick..

The Astros are not going to win anything. They are pathetic. Dierker should be out of there.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe its because of the recent events that have occurred, but doesn't it seem that no one really cares that Bonds now holds the HR record? It just doesn't seem like that big of an accomplishment after Sosa and McGwire did it 3 years ago. Granted, it still takes talent and skill to do what he did but it just seems like the HR has become watered down being that 3 guys beat a 30+ yr record in a span of 3 years. Anyone else seem to notice that too?

People don't care about Bonds breaking the record because he's an ass.

The only reason why you say Bonds is an ass is because you're a Cards fan and you're upset because Bonds broke MacSteroid's record.

AerLingus, I'm an Indians fan, and I say he's an ass because he's an ass. McGwire is 10 times clasier than Bonds ever will be. But you have to give Bonds his due-he had one of the greatest offensive seasons ever put together in the 100-plus years of Major League Baseball.

And for anyone who listens to Jim Rome, let's see if Romie keeps his promise to never, EVER mention again that 15-hop throw Bonds made against the Braves, as that gimpy-legged Sid Bream scored the winning run for the NL Title back in the early 90's!!

I've said before that i think McGwire is a puss.

Tbar, Look at some old tape of Bonds interviews and it will speak for itself. He is an ass, plain and simple.

Thank god hockey's back on!

So what, now he'll shop himself for more money!

Bonds has the record, but Macgwire and Sosa define sportmanship, but baseball is really insignifigant right now....

anyway... Go Diamondbacks!
