So whats great? I know Mi'ami and Khaled.

That Mi'ami is really cool, with the crowds of kids singing the chorus. I believe both are Kuwaiti, but I like "alamdelah shofnakom" "ashou ashou" "yalla yalla" and "gharamik shai ajeeb".

any other great recs?

I like this song called Ojos Asi, it's by shakira and mostly in spanish, with a little bit of arabic. It has a very arabic flavor and sound. I think its arguably her best song. You can get it off of the Donde Estan Los Ladrones CD or the MTV Unplugged one.

I know Amr Diab is pretty good. He sings "Habibi" and "Awidooni."

Yeah KHI747, I was wondering what those numbers were in the middle of the songs. I thought maybe it was just to break up the words so they could get the trough the Napster filter, but I see now. Thanks.

When I get all these, I'll let you know what I think. Shakira is half Lebanese half Hispanic? Here "whenever wherever" is a nice tune
