Wouldn't it be cool to have yourusername@airliners.net? What do you think?

Johan was toying with the idea a while ago. Except anything@airliners.net would be reserved for administrators. While everybody else could get something like username@flyto.airliners.net

It wouldn't be hard to do either. All he would have to do it activate sendmail on the server, and the server that runs this site can also serve the e-mail. Then simply create a quick page for members to regester their mail, and use an online system to check/send mail.

I like the idea.

Or just use a outside service like PPRuNe.org does -- you still get the ability to have mail under the airliners.net domain, and all that needs to be done is to point the domain name to the other service's mail servers, and there is no programming needed on Johan's part, besides just linking to that other side.

Yer I think the best way would be

YourUsername@Airliners.net

There is no reason why that should be reserved for Admin's.
