Richard Reid (AA Shoe Bomber) Visited Israel!

Fri Dec 28, 2001 2:26 am

Okay, guys, I am Israeli but I am going to tell you this in the hopes no fingers are pointed:

Richard Reid traveled with LY last summer to TLV on a Sri Lankan passport. He visited Gaza for a few days, and then left for Egypt through the Rafiach border in Gaza Strip. It is unconfirmed from where he came, but he was checked throughly at the airport, and "had his shoes checked". Now that is an interesting fact.

Now this next fact is going to make Israel kinda stuck with a knife over the body, but please let's be real!!!!
AA's security at CDG and at many other airports is an Israeli company.

Now most of you are saying that Israelis funded him and then let him board the plane. I am sorry, but they have confirmed he visited Gaza, and traveled to the West Bank.

Strange LY772, if you read the following thread on the civil board you get another impression of Israeli security (or better security at LY flights).
